Product Overview Sorbitol Solution 70% (Sorbitol Syrup 70%, D-Glucitol) is a clear, colourless, non-crystallizing polyol syrup supplied at a minimum dry substance of 70%. It is used by chocolate and compound-coating manufacturers as a bulking agent, humectant and crystallization inhibitor in sugar-free and reduced-sugar recipes. In a coating system the syrup does more than replace sucrose. Because sorbitol stays in solution instead of forming crystals, it holds free water
